Better Together:

Growth, Opportunity, Evolution

A coalition of rural hospice providers to better serve our patients.

The GOE IPA is a strategic partnership among not-for-profit hospice and palliative care organizations with a collective commitment to collaborate in support of growth, capacity and sustainability of the member hospices to ensure continued delivery of the highest quality care for patients and families in the communities we serve.

By embracing the collective opportunities, the GOE IPA will align best practices to optimize efficiencies, effectiveness and stability within and among its members, resulting in recognition as the most trusted partner in end of life care for the communities we serve.

The GOE IPA, is a coalition of eight Hospice/Palliative care providers serving 17 counties in upstate and central New York. We collectively serve an area that includes more than 1.4 million people and covers 42% of New York State’s land mass.

In 2023, our hospices served over 3100 hospice patients and their families in private homes and skilled nursing facilities, 194 patients in hospice residences, and more than 400 home-based palliative care patients.

Our not-for-profit hospice organizations are committed to providing medical expertise and compassionate, respectful care to patients and their loved ones at any stage of a life-limiting illness, and to provide information and education about advanced illness, dying and bereavement to the entire community.

GOE IPA member hospice organizations provide the best-in-class care to the rural New York communities we serve, particularly those in areas with limited access to healthcare.
